Accutane

ACCUTANE is one of the best today , it has been on the market for quite some time, however, it did not begin to be applied immediately in sports. Initially, Isotretinoin (Accutane) preparations were produced for veterinary and even medical use, but over time, their properties were found out in sports, where today they are in good demand.

Effects of the drug

The primary indication for the use of Isotretinoin is to reduce the appearance of bad cystic acne and to encourage the skin to replenish itself quicker. However, Accutane is also used to combat moderate to severe acne breakouts that can occur with prolonged use of anabolic steroids. 

How to take it

For general acne breakouts, the recommended dosage of Accutane is prescribed individually by a dermatologist but is generally anywhere up to 160mg per day. It should be taken with food for a certain length of time. Those who take Accutane to treat steroid acne however usually only take about 10-20mg daily. The duration of use for them is normally no longer than 6-8 weeks.

Negative effects

Isotretinoin can potentially cause some reactions in the skin. Side effects include dry mucous membranes, itching, skin rash and Cheilitis. In some rare cases, photophobia, conjunctivitis or hearing loss may occur. Do not take Isotretinoin if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have liver or kidney damage, have an individual intolerance to Isotretinoin or take antibiotics of the tetracycline group during the period of treatment.
